Passion for Volunteering
We relish in our responsibility to be involved and enthusiastic participants in
our local area. We feel it is important to give back to our community in order
to make it a more hospitable and enhanced place.
Education
We will apply the knowledge gained in Small Group Communications for the
betterment of our team.
Receptive Work Environment
We observe the golden rule of, “treat others as you wish to be treated.” All
group gathering should reflect a positive, encouraging, and amicable work
environment in which all members are free to express their views, opinions, and
ideas.
Self-Directed Team
We expect each of our group members to be self-motivated for the benefit of our
group, and to delight in the steps that must be taken in order to reach our
accomplishments. Our team realizes that a puzzle can’t be completed when a
piece is missing—and all team members’ involvements are crucial.
Self-Responsibility
Each group member takes responsibility for their own achievements and their own
disappointments. We rejoice in success and see failures as chances for growth.
Integrity
We expect all team members to be honest, and not to withhold critical
information from other team members.
Inspiration
We wish to be an inspiration to other Purdue students. We hope that our works
will motivate them to reach our and make a difference.
